Penalties Issued at Showtime Speedway Event on June 3, 2018
Pinellas Park, FL 06/13/2018 – The following penalties have been issued following the event on Saturday.

Pinellas Park, FL 06/13/2018 – Harold Smith driver of the #82 (Mini Stock) has been barred indefinitely from Showtime Speedway property and ALL Speedway Functions, for his actions of Unsportsmanlike conduct and actions unbecoming. His actions were deemed to be detrimental to the sport of auto racing and Showtime Speedway.
Any attempt to gain access to Showtime Speedway property or events will be considered Trespassing and will be dealt with the Pinellas Park Police Department.

Jimmy Leach driver of the #13 (Mini Stock) has been suspended for SIX MONTHS following the incident on June 3, 2018 for his actions of Unsportsmanlike conduct, causing a disturbance in the grandstands and action unbecoming a driver. His actions where deemed to be detrimental to the sport of auto racing and Showtime Speedway.

Somer  Warniment – crew member/girlfriend of the #13 (Mini Stock) has been suspended for SIX MONTHS following the incident on June 3, 2018 for his actions of Unsportsmanlike conduct, causing a disturbance in the grandstands and action unbecoming a driver. His actions where deemed to be detrimental to the sport of auto racing and Showtime Speedway

Albert Smith driver of the 72 (Mini Stock) has been suspended for one(1) Calendar year following the incident on June 3, 2018 for his actions of Unsportsmanlike conduct, Alterations, hitting another competitors car and action unbecoming a driver. His actions where deemed to be detrimental to the sport of auto racing and Showtime Speedway.

Andrew Smith crew member of the  82/72 (Mini Stock) has been suspended for one(1) Calendar year following the incident on June 3, 2018 for his actions of Unsportsmanlike conduct, Alterations, actions unbecoming a crew member. His actions where deemed to be detrimental to the sport of auto racing and Showtime Speedway.

Mason Love driver of the 1(Street Stock) has been suspended for one(1) event following the incident on June 3, 2018 for his actions of Unsportsmanlike conduct, Retaliations and action unbecoming a driver. His actions where deemed to be detrimental to the sport of auto racing and Showtime Speedway.

All were issued by the Showtime Speedway committee –

Penalties Issued at Showtime Speedway Event on March 31, 2018

The following penalties have been issue by the Showtime Speedway committee

Driver/Owner- Austin Craig of the Super Mini Late Model #30 has been suspended for one race, placed on a probation for 4 events (excluding rain outs)  and fined $50.00 following the incident on March 31, 2018 for his actions of Unsportsmanlike conduct, throwing his steering wheel at another competitor and action unbecoming a driver/owner that were deemed to be detrimental to the sport of auto racing and Showtime Speedway.

All fines must be paid in cash before being allowed on the track be it practice or competition.  Any further acts will result in further penalties to be issued.

 

Pinellas Park, FL  3/22/2018 Keith “Rocket Red” Thorbin crew member has been suspended by the committee from Showtime Speedway property for balance of the 2018 season for actions unbecoming a crew member. His actions were deemed to be detrimental to the sport of auto racing and Showtime Speedway.

Any attempt to gain access to Showtime Speedway property or events will be considered Trespassing and will be dealt with the Pinellas Park Police Department.

Pinellas Park, FL  3/22/2018 – PRO Truck driver Jason Lester’s suspension has been upheld by the committee and will be reevaluated in 6 months.  His actions were deemed to be detrimental to the sport of auto racing and Showtime Speedway.

Any attempt to gain access to Showtime Speedway property or events will be considered Trespassing and will be dealt with the Pinellas Park Police Department.

Penalties Issued at Showtime Speedway Event on March 3, 2018

Jason Lester  has been barred from Showtime Speedway property following the incident on March 3, 2018 for his actions of Unsportsmanlike conduct, actions unbecoming in Tech area on  speedway property. His actions were deemed to be detrimental to the sport of auto racing and Showtime Speedway.

Any attempt to gain access to Showtime Speedway property or events will be considered Trespassing and will be dealt with the Pinellas Park Police Department.

 

Pinellas Park, FL – 10/21/2017 – The following penalties have been issued following the event on Saturday, October 14, 2017

Bruce Bennett Jr. driver of the #24 Open Wheel Modified has been suspended from all Showtime Speedway events for destruction of Speedway property (1) trandsponder. Bruce Bennett Jr. will remain suspended until Speedway Property is paid for. ($498.00)
His actions were deemed to be detrimental to the sport of auto racing and Showtime Speedway.

Bruce Bennett Sr. owner of the #24 Open Wheel Modified has been suspended from all Showtime Speedway events for destruction of Speedway property (1) trandsponder. Bruce Bennett Sr. will remain suspended until Speedway Property is paid for. ($498.00)
His actions were deemed to be detrimental to the sport of auto racing and Showtime Speedway.

Pinellas Park, FL 11/1/15 Rick the Roofer crew members of the #99 (Street Stock) has been barred from Showtime Speedway property following the incident on October 31, 2015 for his actions of Unsportsmanlike conduct, actions unbecoming and vandalism of speedway property. His actions were deemed to be detrimental to the sport of auto racing and Showtime Speedway.

Any attempt to gain access to Showtime Speedway property or events will be considered Trespassing and will be dealt with the Pinellas Park Police Department.
